Leszek Nord’s story connects poetry with carpentry and post-socialist Poland with the Far North. It follows a new-found geographical mobility after the fall of socialism, the responsibilities of a father of three children, and a drive for adventure and expression, which brought him to the island of Svalbard, and its main settlement Longyearbyen.
